The inspiration behind this store comes from a single image: a cross formed using a crown of thorns. Historically, the crown of thorns was meant as mockery—a symbol used to ridicule Christ in His final moments. Here, that same symbol is reclaimed and transformed into one of connection, endurance, and meaning.
The image itself was created using a photograph of a real crown of thorns plant that once belonged to the creator’s grandmother. The plant blooms year-round and has been shared, replanted, and passed on many times over—becoming a quiet symbol of continuity, memory, and life carried forward. Though she passed away early, her presence lives on through what continues to grow and be shared.
This story shapes everything we create.
